Programme I - VICTORIES!
The opera revolutions under Napoleon On the occasion of the bicentenary of Napoleon the 1st death and in collaboration with the Palazzetto Bru Zane, this chamber programme gathers arias from the early 19th, that Napoleon heard at that time.

Programme II - ROAD 68!
Complete 68 Haydn’s string quartets At the start of the 2016/17 season, the Quatuor Cambini-Paris embarked on the ambitious project of performing all 68 string quartets of Joseph Haydn. With three concerts per season, the project is scheduled over eight years.This complete cycle of the 68 Haydn quartets, presented by Clément Lebrun, is given an element of staging that allows audiences to join the musicians in a participatory and sensory experience: they can invent titles for quartets that have no nickname, observe which are the original colors of paintings, compare the sounds of bows from different periods,taste a burgundy wine, a frittatensuppe or a chocolate created in music, discover astronomy, perfumes, neurology...

Programme III - BRAHMS TRIO
Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) - The Trio for piano, violin and horn in E flat major opus 40 is a trio for piano, violin and natural horn by Johannes Brahms. Composed in 1864-65, it was premiered on December 7, 1865 in Karlsruhe by the horn player Segisser, the violinist Ludwig Strauss and the composer on the piano. Inspired by the Black Forest, Brahms wrote to his friend Dietrich: “one morning I was walking, and as I arrived there the sun began to shine between the trunks of the trees; the idea of the trio came to my mind with its first theme.”

Programme IV - VIENNESE BREAK
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) Daniel Steibelt (1765-1823) Joseph Haydn (1732-1809)

After touring and recording with Mozart’s concerto no17, Justin Taylor and Julien Chauvin gather again for a Chamber music programme around Beethoven, Mozart and Steibelt’s sonatas. The Deauville Festival in 2019 reunited the two musicians and the great cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière. From this moment they decided to create this trio chamber music program.

Programme V - THE BAROQUE OFFERING
Jean-Sébastien Bach (1685-1750), Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767), Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741)

This Baroque program highlights the creativity and elegance of three masters of the 18th century. Telemann invites us into subtle dialogues between instru ments, alternating between poignant expressiveness and graceful lightness. Bach, true to his art of counterpoint, showcases harmonic richness and formal mastery through works blending virtuosity and depth. Finally, Vivaldi concludes with a captivating and rhythmic piece, where each variation reveals renewed intensity, leading to a dazzling finale.
